so dreams can go on.

Its 6 pm, on the shore I watch the sunset,

Kids’ finishing up homework, mom’s preparing supper,

With sunrise, another day begins.

24 times the hour glass’ been turned,

Every minute, like the sand has slipped.

Our eyes captured pictures without trammels

I saw how similar technology was

to nature in a different way.

Her love

was pure as a dove

Giving me medicines

With tons of affection

Stitching during her free time

Visiting temples time to time

She knew A to Z of fruits

But don’t forget physiotherapy and reiki

Telling me stories and putting me to sleep

You will not know what my grandma means

Gone from this world, always alive in our hearts

Her soul irreplaceable, an angel from heaven above.

It is rare to get people as precious as she is to me

If I would exchange her I would think I am crazy!

The heat pierced through my skin

I saw just sand around me and sky above

If I found what I came looking for

It would be like an oasis, a breath of fresh air.

Swimming to the ocean floor,

Everything seems so virgin,

Untouched by human hands.

I was told I would find it here

I know it’s somewhere, but I didn’t find it there.

Heavens would definitely have it

Getting closest to God’s own abode

I began climbing the highest mountain

I climbed until I could breathe no more

Only to return home disdained.

As I lay down weary but anxious

I heard a voice whisper

“Travel nowhere my dear,

What you’re looking for is nowhere but here.
